| The focus of the foundation in the near future in going to stay with the school and to make Adharshila a quality education for the entire region and also take it towards being self sustaining and a financially independent entity, especially from the date to date operations perspective while at the same time, not making the school fee too expensive for the poor people of the village.
However, capital expenses required for expenses like school building, classrooms, fixtures and furniture etc, would need to be provided for from external sources, as has been the case so far.
The foundation will focus its energies on maintaining the quality of the education at Adharshila and also to generate the much needed financial resources.
After attaining a position of sustainability on its maiden project, the foundation will attempt to take Adharshila to more villages across the country by providing support, expertise and funding to other individuals and entities who would want to make a difference in the lives of the young minds across rural India.
The foundation is also currently working with government authorities in the region to try and improve the basic necessities and infrastructure in the region. While we have seen success on one of our endeavors so far, there is still a log way you go. The foundation has been successful in working with the relevant authorities and impressing upon them to get a proper road to connect the village – this project had been pending for decades, however, with collective work of the villagers and the Trustees of SSMF, we were able to move this project to its logical conclusion. The foundation would continue to pursue similar project options. |
